HI all,
Well, the family and I have moved back to the USA. I’m very excited to start my new role as Director (coach) of Sprint for the US. We’ve only been here for about 3 weeks, and I started my new job this week (1st July).
I had two days in the La Velodrome to get settled, now I’m out in T-Town in Pennsylvania on the east side of America.
The Junior Nationals are on at the moment and after 2 days of great racing we’re on pause because of some rain which will hopefully pass in the next few hours.
There is plenty of talented riders here and more appearing daily now that I’ve been given the task of revamping the national sprint program!
Got a lot of work to do and it’s definitely a long term plan, but one journey I know I’m going to enjoy.
The wife and kids are happy again to be in Southern California enjoying the days of sun, and we’re also looking forward to catching up with her family after the 4 year stint in the UK.
If anyone is interested in what I’m doing here in the US, then follow us at: USACycling.org
I’ll be starting a new twitter account also for the Sprint side of things as well as trying to post a few more tweets on my personal account: jamiestaff
Regards
Jamie
